Just landed - wondering what gives the better rate in Grenada: ATM withdrawal or airport exchange counter?

Airport exchange in Grenada is convenient but pricey compared to ATMs. Using my Mastercard at Republic Bank ATMs gave me better rates and fewer fees. If you're staying several days, it’s worth skipping the airport counter to save some cash.

From my trip, I recommend doing a small amount at the airport just to cover transport, then head to a Republic Bank ATM. Airport counters usually take a bigger cut. I stayed near Grand Anse Beach and the bank ATMs were reliable with good rates.

I always avoid airport exchange counters in Grenada. The Republic Bank ATMs around town gave me a fair rate, and the withdrawal fee was small. If you want more for your money, withdraw cash from the banks downtown instead of changing at the airport.

Just landed in Grenada and I used the Republic Bank ATM in St. George’s - noticed a much better rate than the airport exchange counter. The airport fees and margins seemed pretty steep. Even with the ATM fee, I ended up with more Eastern Caribbean dollars using my Visa debit.
