Nope. Mine in Uyuni said “card machine broken” and wanted full payment in bolivianos. Wasn’t even broken I think, they just prefer cash.

Used buses in Cochabamba and Santa Cruz. All cash. No card machines, no apps. You pay the driver when you get on. 🙂

I always paid taxis in cash. Tried to pay with card once and the driver just laughed. Grab app is much easier if you want to use digital payment.

Yeah it’s mostly fine. I just don’t go at night or use random machines. The ones inside supermarkets or attached to banks felt safest to me.
