ATMs in Singapore keep asking Accept or Decline Conversion - what does that mean? Shows high charges for this

That’s called Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC).  DECLINE DECLINE

Always choose Decline Conversion. When you “accept,” the ATM sets the exchange rate and adds a huge markup, like 6-8%. Went to HSBC, it asked me there - just press decline.

Always working and easy to find-UOB is a reliable ATM choice in Singapore. But defo without conversion else you'll have more charges
