Looking for reliable ATMs in Indonesia that work well with foreign debit/credit cards and dont charge crazy fees. Any recos will be highly appreciated.

Stick to machines from big banks like BCA or Mandiri. Avoid the random ones outside tourist minimarts - half of them charge a huge fee or just don’t work. BCA inside malls worked every time for me.

Mandiri ATMs were pretty consistent for me. I used them in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bali. They accepted my Mastercard debit and showed the fees clearly before the transaction.

BNI and CIMB Niaga ATMs worked solid for me. Never declined my Visa card, even in smaller towns like Ubud or Labuan Bajo. BNI had better withdrawal limits, though - up to 3 million in one go.

I used my TD debit and my Wise card all over Indonesia and had the best luck with BCA and PermataBank ATMs. Both accepted my cards with no fuss and the screens were in English. The fees were low, around 30,000 rupiah per withdrawal, and the limit was decent - usually around 2.5 to 3 million. I avoided the ones in touristy convenience stores because they often added sneaky fees or just didn’t work with foreign cards.

BCA ATM in Indonesia charged a 5% commission for Visa card withdrawal. Watch out for hidden fees.

BRI in Indonesia worked with my Revolut Mastercard, but they did charge a 30,000 IDR fee.

Used BRI in Ubud, Indonesia - they charged a 30,000 IDR ATM fee for my Visa Debit card.
