Cash per day in Bolivia?

Bolivia’s cheap. I budgeted 40 USD a day max and usually spent less.

My average daily spend was about 180 BOB. That included lunch and dinner at decent places, public transport, and tips here and there. Tours and hostels I usually paid online. I withdrew 1000 BOB at a time and kept half in my room safe.

I had like 100 BOB on me most days. Ate street food, used colectivos, didn’t do much shopping. Was enough unless I joined a tour.

I carried around 150 to 200 bolivianos per day in cash. That covered food, local buses, museum entries, and the occasional juice or snack.
