Travelling soon and looking for best ATMs in Brazil that work well with foreign debit/credit cards and dont charge crazy fees. Any recos will be highly appreciated.
Banco24hrs ATM only allows up to R$1000 per withdrawal. Worked fine with my Visa credit card. Fee was R$24.
Used my Mastercard at Santander in Brazil - worked fine. The fee displayed was R$20, but wasnt charged in my case.
No fee charged by Santander using my Mastercard. Safe, clean, and machine worked smoothly.
ITAu ATM did not work with my English Mastercard. Also showed a fee of R$12. Didnt proceed with transaction.
The Caixa 24 Horas ATM inside Filadelfia is safe and functional. Worked fine and charged between R$0 and R$20 depending on the card.
Tried using the ATM at Santander and failed, but staff were super helpful and did the transaction for me at the counter. Very fast and polite service!

Used the same Santander ATM in Rio three times - two successful, one failed (probably out of cash). Would be great if the machine actually told you that!
