Looking for reliable ATMs in Bolivia that work well with foreign debit/credit cards and dont charge crazy fees. Any recos will be highly appreciated.
UOB was solid. I used it in Cochabamba and Santa Cruz.
Stand Chart and UOB most consistent, and they all had English options on screen which helped a lot.
BNB and UOB was fee free while using my german sparkassendebit card 🙂 just avoid it at night
Avoid the random ATMs in shops or hostels. Stick to bank branches like BNI or BancoSol. I had the least issues with BCP decent withdrawal limits up to 2 Mill. and the machine didn’t try to upsell me on any fake rates
Used my Monzo card at BNB in Bolivia - no fee charged for the transaction. ATM worked perfectly.
No fee was charged when I used Monzo at BNB. Safe and operational at the time of visit.
Used my USA Wells Fargo Visa Debit at BancoBISA - no fees charged. Took out 2000 Bs, machine worked perfectly and felt safe.
