Is it okay to use ATMs late in the evening in Bolivia or should I stick to daytime withdrawals only? I am a single woman travelling so want to be safe.

Used BCP during the day and never had an issue. Wouldn’t go near those stand-alone machines at night though, especially the ones near bus terminals.

Withdrew cash from a BancoSol ATM in Sucre around 9 pm. It was inside a supermarket and pretty busy, so I felt okay- ISH 😀

Tried to use a BNB ATM at 10 pm in Cochabamba once. Didn’t like the vibe at all. Ended up going back in the morning instead. Not worth the stress.

Honestly I stuck to daytime withdrawals. In La Paz I only used ATMs inside malls or banks during open hours. Felt way safer, and staff were nearby in case anything weird happened.

BCP Bolivia ATMs truly work 24/7 for both deposits and withdrawals. Super dependable.

BCP Bolivia ATM at El Alto airport is reliable and always open. You can deposit and withdraw anytime, and the space is well-kept. Its the airport so pretty safe

BNB ATM was in poor condition - dirty and not confidence-inspiring.

Once BANCOBISA closes, the ATM also shuts down - no service outside branch hours. Not 24/7!
