Luxury is still cheap compared to elsewhere. $120 daily gave me beachfront hotels, private surf lessons $50, and steak dinners $25. It’s a good value destination even at higher budgets.

I averaged $80 daily in Nicaragua when I stayed in boutique hotels and booked organized trips. Volcano boarding in Cerro Negro was $35, private transfers $25, and meals $15 each. For comfort, plan $70-$90 per day.

Mid-range I spent $55 daily. Hotels in León $25, restaurant meals $8-$10, and day trips to Masaya Volcano $20. It’s still affordable, but tours add up.

Nicaragua was super cheap. I spent $30 daily: hostel $8 in Granada, street food like vigorón $3, and chicken buses $1-$Surfing in San Juan del Sur was $10 for a board rental. Easily doable under $40 daily.
