No, you won't be able to use cards. The bus system is entirely cash-based, and there is no metro. You will need to pay the driver or a fare collector directly in local currency. Even in the capital, credit card acceptance is very limited. It's best to have a good stash of small bills for all your transport needs.

Your best bet is to carry a lot of small cash. The public transportation system in Haiti is not set up to take card payments. The main ways to get around are via public buses or shared taxis, both of which require cash. You can withdraw Gourdes from a local bank, but make sure to break down large bills at a shop or restaurant beforehand.

Don't even bother with cards for public transport here. I was just in Port-au-Prince and everything is cash. The tap-taps and shared taxis are all cash-based, and there are no card readers. You pay the fare directly to the driver. You'll need to get Haitian Gourdes from a local bank or from a money transfer service and make sure you have small bills for your fares.

You'll need small cash for sure. Haiti does not have a metro system, and the buses are typically informal, private minibuses called tap-taps. These are cash-only, and the fare is paid directly to the driver or a conductor. The local currency is the Haitian Gourde (HTG). It is also important to carry small bills and coins, as they are essential for these transactions and many smaller vendors.
