Travelling soon and looking for best ATMs in Canada that work well with foreign debit/credit cards and dont charge crazy fees. Any recos will be highly appreciated.
Used Servus CU and Desjardins...both foreign cards easy, machines speak English/French. I withdrawed around 700 CAD at once, paid like 5CAD at Servus and 4 adt Desjardins..
I had trouble with my N26 at TD Bankk.... it got declined a few times. But it worked smoothly at CIBC and Scitibank. CIBC had a 5 CAD fee and could withdaw until my card limit =)
Avoid those random no-name ATMs in convenience stores...they charge like 6 bucks and bad rates 😩. I used TD and RBC machines mostly. RBC charged 3 CAD flat fee with no other surprises. Revolut and Monzo both worked fine there.
Scotiabank ATMs were the best for me in Toronto and Quebec. My Wise Visa worked every time, no hidden tricks. The fee was around 3 CAD, and I could take out up to 1000 CAD. Clean interface, English option too. 🙂
Same as above - indoor 24hr ATM, worked with Mastercard. $5 fee seems standard across branches.
Local Albertan Servus Credit Union offers 24hr indoor ATM access. Mastercard worked fine. $5 fee per withdrawal.
Was searching for an RBC ATM machine in Canada. Needed to withdraw but couldnt find one easily.
Looking everywhere for an RBC ATM in Canada - was specifically trying to use a debit card.
