Is it safe to withdraw cash in Canada or not?

Canada’s probably one of the safest places I’ve ever withdrawn cash. Even the ATMs in subway stations were chill.

yes its safe mostly. I used CIBC and ScotiaBank ATMs in Calgary. no problems at all. just don’t use the tiny ATMs at gas stations, they charge more and look shady sometimes.

I felt safe everytime. Used Scotiabank ATM near my hostel in Vancouver and it was well-lit with security cameras.

Totally safe. I used TD and RBC ATMs all over Toronto and Montreal, even late in the evening. Machines are usually inside bank lobbies or malls. Just the usual...cover your PIN and don’t flash cash around.

Used my Mastercard at Servus Credit Union in Canada. Worked smoothly. Safe, well-maintained, and 24-hour access.

ATM at TD is open 24/7. Great for late-night needs.

Good location for CIBC ATM-inside a building, so felt safe and dry.

Had to queue inside the Desjardins bank, but the ATM was clean and safe.
