I kept a daily budget of $50 in Lebanon, which dealt with transport around Beirut, meals at street vendors, and tips. Cash was preferred for taxis, especially near Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport.

Budgeting around 70,000 LBP daily covered decent meals, taxis, and occasional fees for museums. I stayed near Achrafieh and found local transport affordable and convenient.

I found $45 daily sufficient visiting Lebanon, eating at local bakeries and cafés near The Corniche. Taxis were inexpensive but mostly paid in cash. ATMs at Bank Audi made cash withdrawals easy.

In Beirut, I budgeted roughly 65,000 to 75,000 LBP ($40-$50) per day for food, taxis, and tips. Meals around Hamra were about $10-$15, and taxis cost around $5-10 per ride depending on distance. Staying in Gemmayzeh offered good access to dining and transport.
