I think €80-€90 a day is a fair average for Greece. Athens was cheaper, with metro at €1.50 and budget meals for €5. But once on the islands, accommodation doubled, and beach clubs charged €15 just for a sunbed. Ferries are not cheap either, averaging €30 per trip. A highlight for me was Meteora, with entry at €3 per monastery. If you mix islands and mainland, €80 daily balances it out. Greece rewards flexible budgeting.

Greece really depends on where you go. In Athens and Thessaloniki, I spent €60-€70 daily-hostels were €18, meals €8-€12, and buses were €1-€Once I hit Santorini, my budget jumped to €100 because dorm beds were €30, and dinners near Oia were €15-€20. Ferries and boat trips are the budget-killers. I did a caldera cruise for €50, which was worth it. Overall, €70 daily inland and €100 on islands is realistic.

In Greece, I averaged €70 per day sticking to hostels and street food. Athens hostels were €15-€18, gyros and souvlaki were €3-€5, and metro was cheap at €1.50 per ride. Museums ranged €5-€15. Ferries between islands like Naxos and Paros were €25-€30. Once I reached smaller islands, guesthouses were €20-€25, and local food was €8-€10. If you’re skipping expensive islands, €60 daily is possible, but if you want Santorini or Mykonos, budget higher.

Greece cost me about €80-€100 per day when I was on the islands. Hostels in Santorini were €25-€30, meals in tavernas were €10-€15, and ferry rides between islands were €30-€40 each. Athens was cheaper-hostels were €15, gyros were €3, and metro tickets were €1.50. Entry to the Acropolis was €20. On islands, renting a scooter was €25 daily. If you want nightlife and beach bars, add another €20-€30. Greece can be done cheaper, but €80 is realistic.
