Need cash when I land, best place in Netherlands? Airport or places in the city?
Best is to wait till you're in the city centre. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, even smaller towns ,ING, ABN AMRO, Rabobank all have solid ATMs. Airport ones are convenient but not worth the extra cost.
I used a bunq ATM in the city and it was perfect. My Wise card worked instantly and it didn’t force any conversion option. exchange offices at the airport where really bad from the exchange rate!
landed in rotterdam n saw those flashy airport ATMs. don’t trust them. found Rabobank ATM near my hostel. used revolut n no issue. fees were low too.
Skip the airport if you can. Schiphol has mostly Euronet ATMs and they charge crazy fees. I waited till I got to Amsterdam Centraal and used an ING machine, no fees there for me with my sparkassen debit card from germany.
