Around SBD 170 a day covered my essential costs in Honiara-food at local joints, taxi fares around Lawson Tama Stadium, and occasional guided tours. Bank South Pacific ATMs helped with convenient cash access.

My budget hovered near $23 daily in Solomon Islands, factoring in guesthouse stays near the Roundhouse, rides to local beaches, and meals at affordable waterfront cafés. Taxis were cash only but priced fairly.

Staying near the National Museum, I kept to roughly $22 a day for food, taxis, and sightseeing. Local markets were inexpensive for fresh produce, and taxis charged around SBD 10-15 for most rides.

While in Honiara, Solomon Islands, I budgeted around SBD 150-180 ($20-$24 USD) per day. This included meals near Central Market, taxis, and visits to Necklako Island. hotel was modest, mostly at guesthouses around Point Cruz.
