My Moorea budget was around $180 a day. Pension at $80, scooter $25, meals $15 breakfast, $20 dinner, and excursions like dolphin watching $40. Groceries for lunch kept things cheaper. Compared to Bora Bora, Moorea is more affordable. $150-$200 is reasonable for mid-range.

I managed Moorea on $100 daily. Camping ($30), street food like poisson cru ($10-$15), and hitchhiking cut costs. I did one lagoon tour ($50) as my splurge. Groceries and cooking helped a lot. If you’re creative and adventurous, $90-$110 is possible.

Resorts in Moorea blew my budget. I spent $350 a day at an overwater bungalow, $200 per night room, $100 meals, and $50 on activities like snorkeling tours. Food at resorts was especially expensive. For luxury seekers, budget at least $300-$400 daily.

Moorea isn’t cheap but worth every cent. I averaged $140 a day staying in a small guesthouse for $70, renting a scooter for $30, and eating local snacks for $10. Excursions like lagoon tours with stingrays and sharks were $50. If you avoid big resorts and stick to pensions, $130-$150 per day covers basics plus an activity.
