Just landed - wondering what gives the better rate in Guam: ATM withdrawal or airport exchange counter?

I stayed near Tumon and used Bank of Guam ATMs. The cash I got from ATMs had a better exchange rate compared to airport money changers. If you’re visiting Guam, plan to withdraw enough cash at these bank ATMs early on to avoid costly airport exchange counters.

If you want to avoid airport exchange fees in Guam, use Bank of Guam ATMs around Tamuning or Hagåtña. The rates are much better even with a small withdrawal fee. The airport counter is convenient but costs you more per dollar exchanged.

Guam ATMs at Bank of Guam or BankPacific are solid for foreign cards. Used the airport exchange desk only for a small amount to catch a taxi - otherwise, ATMs give a better rate and lower fees. Daily limits were big enough for my trip needs too.

Just landed at A.B. Won Pat Airport and used Bank of Guam ATMs around Tumon for my Visa card. The ATM gave me a way better deal on exchange rate than the airport currency exchange counter. Airport rates were shady with extra commissions.
