On my trip around Dakar, I found $24 daily worked well to cover local eats, taxis, and museum visits. Areas like Plateau and Ngor Village offered a range of prices for budget travelers. Avoid tourist spots for better deals.

Exploring Saint-Louis and Dakar required about $23 per day. Staying near the university helped with affordable lodging, and local buses plus taxis were my transport. Food markets were great for fresh, cheap meals.

My budget hovered near $25 a day in Senegal. Street food and local cafés kept meal costs low, while shared taxis helped with transport. ATMs at Bank of Africa were dependable for cash withdrawals.

While in Dakar, Senegal, I spent around 12,000-15,000 CFA francs ($22-$27) daily. This included meals near the Medina, taxis around Plateau, and visiting sites like Gorée Island. I stayed in guesthouses close to the Corniche for convenience.
