My daily budget in Liberia was roughly $38, enough to enjoy local dishes at Sinkor, pay for taxis to beaches, and tip guides. Cash payments were essential for convenience.

Liberia’s costs aren’t sensitive for budget travelers, with around $45 a day covering meals, taxis, and small tipping. I stayed near the Ducor Hotel and found transport both cheap and frequent.

I spent around $40 daily while exploring Liberia, eating at roadside cafés and using taxis that mostly accepted cash. ATMs from Ecobank Liberia helped me with withdrawals.

Budgeting about $35-$45 daily worked fine in Monrovia. Local food near Waterside and taxis running $2-$5 per ride were easy to handle. I stayed at the Bella Casa Hotel, which was affordable and well-located.
