I kept days around $95-$115. Castries/Rodney Bay guesthouse $60-$70, grill plates or rotis $8-$12, and minibuses $1-$Gros Islet Friday Night street party ran $10-$15 with drinks. From Soufrière, water taxi to the Pitons $25-$35; beach chairs $10 if you want comfort. Free: Reduit Beach, Pigeon Island hikes (entry $10). That budget bought a beach day, one small paid experience, and dinner with a view.

Took a nine-day trip in May 2025 and budgeted XCD 275/day. Stayed in friendly guesthouses and local inns, ate crab from beach shacks, and hiked the Pitons on a budget. I splurged once on a catamaran cruise (~XCD 200), but otherwise sticked to low-cost options. XCD 250-300 gives you breathing room without tipping into “oops there goes the vacation” budget.

Spent a month living in Castries earlier this year, averaging XCD 300/day. That included simple studio rental, groceries, café workdays, and ferry trips. I did a few scuba dives (~XCD 250), rainforest hikes, and occasional dinners out. Public buses and minivan taxis are great value. My breakdown felt fair: XCD 100 for food, XCD 50-80 for transport, XCD 100 for lodging, and XCD 70-100 for activities.

I planned for around XCD 350/day over a week in March 2025. That covered a private room, a few island-hopping tours (~XCD 180 each), meals at mid-range restaurants (~XCD 120 per dinner), and occasional taxis. Rum tours were fun but added up (~XCD 100). If you're okay with local eateries and public transport, you could trim it closer to XCD 200/day.
