Need cash when I land, best place in Haiti? Airport or places in the city?
I always go for airport ATMs in Port-au-Prince to get a quick stash of cash. Used my American Express, and while fees were standard, I've had a smooth experience each time. As a repeat visitor, comfort trumps a few extra dollars lost. I remember my first trip wandering in Delmas trying to find a bank. Now, I’d rather start my stay worry-free and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city right away.
