Scotia and RBC ATMs do accept US debit cards, but they hit you with a around $5 USD fee per transaction, which adds up fast. If you can, try to find an alternative to avoid those extra charges.

I used Republic Bank ATMs, since they don’t charged my any fees when using my N26 card. Try to use one that’s located at an actual bank branch!

A few years back, I used my RBC Card from Canada at a Scotiabank ATM in Trinidad and was charged around $30 TTD in fees. Not sure if this Info is still up to date 😩

I used my Wise card at a Republic Bank ATM in Port of Spain and didn’t pay any local fee. Withdrawal limit was about TT$2,000 (~US$290) per transaction - plenty for my week there. Avoid machines in convenience stores or malls; they often charge TT$20-25 per withdrawal. Stick with bank-branch ATMs like Republic Bank, First Citizens, or Scotiabank for fee-free withdrawals.
