Is it safe to withdraw cash in Cayman Islands or not?

Most resorts have 24-hour ATMs, and they work perfectly with international cards. If you're exploring the island, it's still a good idea to carry some cash - not all beach vendors accept cards.

Tried a Royal Bank ATM at a gas station in Bodden Town after 10 PM. It worked fine, but the street was empty and dark, which made me a little wary. Still, I never felt unsafe - just stayed alert and didn’t linger.

I was staying near Seven Mile Beach and withdrew cash from a Butterfield Bank ATM late evening. Everything was smooth, and there were others doing the same. No one seemed concerned. The Caymans feel very safe, even at night.

Used an ATM outside a Foster’s supermarket in George Town around 9:45 PM. The area had lights, security, and a handful of shoppers. ATM safety in the Cayman Islands after dark is very high - the island has a low crime rate and great infrastructure.
