Is it okay to use ATMs late in the evening in Grenada or should I stick to daytime withdrawals only? I am a single woman travelling so want to be safe.

As a budget traveler, I stayed in a small guesthouse near Morne Rouge. Walked to a nearby bank ATM around 9 PM - the machine was operational, but the road there was dark and empty. Didn’t feel unsafe, but I definitely prefer day withdrawals here. Best to top up during business hours and avoid relying on ATMs late.

Used an ATM near the university late one evening. There were students hanging out, and the area felt relaxed. The ATM worked fine, but the person after me had a card issue. Bring a backup payment method. ATMs are safe enough at night in Grenada, but reliability can be hit or miss - especially in remote areas.

While traveling the Caribbean by ferry, Grenada felt safe overall. I withdrew cash in St. George’s at an RBTT ATM around 8:30 PM. The marina area had foot traffic and decent lighting. For anyone wondering about withdrawing cash after dark in Grenada - tourist areas are fine, but avoid using machines in more residential parts at night.

I stayed near Grand Anse Beach and used a Republic Bank ATM at the Spiceland Mall after 10 PM. The mall area still had a few people around, and the machine worked without issues. ATM safety at night in Grenada was not a problem in commercial areas, but I wouldn’t recommend wandering too far into quiet streets after dark.
