I've noticed on the Android app for Türkiye when selecting General Fee List, banks like Ziraat have a warning note saying 8 to 9.9% currency conversion which of course we should decline. However, it also makes mention there isn't an option to do that. I thought Visa and Mastercard did not permit that and ATM users have to have the option to let their card issuer convert back to their own currency?
Have people actually encountered this or is the info on the app actually wrong in this case?
