Looking for reliable ATMs in Ukraine that work well with foreign debit/credit cards and dont charge crazy fees. Any recos will be highly appreciated.

I live here full time and rotate between PrivatBank, Oschadbank, and A-Bank depending on where I am. All of them work well with foreign cards, especially Visa removed link Limits are usually 3,000-6,000 UAH per withdrawal. I’ve never had any surprise fees from those three, but Euronet and other small branded ATMs are notorious for bad rates and aggressive DCC. Stick to machines attached to real banks if you can.

Been in Ukraine since early April, mostly working from Lviv. Raiffeisen Bank ATMs have been the most consistent for me. They don’t charge local fees and work with both my Wise and Chase Sapphire debit. Limit is usually 5,000 UAH, sometimes more depending on location. I avoid machines after dark or in sketchy areas, but most in malls and near train stations were solid.

Used my UK Revolut and US Capital One cards across Lviv and Odessa. Oschadbank and UKRSIBBANK both worked fine - no extra charges, just whatever my bank normally takes. Most of them capped me around 4,000-5,000 UAH per transaction. Some ATMs let you do two back-to-back withdrawals if you need more. The random machines in hostels or near convenience stores usually have worse rates or hidden fees.

I’ve been in Kyiv for a few weeks and had the best luck with PrivatBank ATMs. They didn’t charge anything extra on my Wise card, and the rate was close to what I saw on XE. I usually pulled out about 5,000 UAH (~$125) at a time. Tried Raiffeisen too - also solid, but one machine only let me take 3,000 UAH. Avoid the standalone Euronet machines in metro stations - they had a huge markup and a fee.
