Is it safe to withdraw cash in Isle of Man or not?

I barely used cash during my stay, but when I did need it, I withdrew late at night and had no issues. ATMs are standard UK models and work with all international cards - no service fees either.

Stayed in Peel and withdrew money late evening from a Lloyds ATM outside a convenience store. The village was quiet, but I didn’t feel even slightly uneasy. Every part of the island gave off a secure, close-knit vibe.

I used an HSBC ATM near the ferry terminal just after sunset. There were still some shops open, and the machine was quick and reliable. Locals don’t think twice about using ATMs at night here - very low crime rate.

In Douglas, I withdrew money from a Santander ATM near the promenade after 10 PM. It was calm and well-lit, with occasional pedestrians. ATM use at night in the Isle of Man felt completely safe and modern - no concerns whatsoever.
