Is it safe to withdraw cash in Northern Mariana Islands or not?

The ATM I used was inside a 24-hour convenience store, and it felt perfectly safe. These islands have a calm vibe, and locals don’t treat night withdrawals as risky - just check your card’s compatibility before you arrive.

Stayed on Tinian and didn’t find any ATMs that were open late. I had to plan my cash withdrawals in Saipan. After 8 PM, options dry up quickly unless you’re inside a resort or major hotel.

I withdrew USD from a First Hawaiian Bank ATM near Garapan after dinner. The area had some foot traffic, and the machine worked smoothly. Most machines here are similar to the mainland US - familiar interfaces and reliable service.

In Saipan, I used a Bank of Guam ATM outside a small shopping center around 10 PM. The area was quiet but well-lit, and I had no issues. ATM use at night in the Northern Mariana Islands felt safe and uneventful.
