I did not see any taxi - AC or local actually having a card swipe machine. so you need cash or local UPI QR code.

Definitely cash unless you are booking an Uber. Otherwise cash all the way

No. Local taxis - black and yellow ones or even tuktuk will not accept cards. cash if what you need.
