I need to take out quite a bit of cash during my trip. Anyone know cheapest ATMs & daily withdrawal limits for foreign cards at Japan ATMs?

Lawson Bank ATM charged 660 JPY fee for a 20,000 JPY withdrawal. Used Wise Visa card.

E-net ATM inside FamilyMart worked fine with my Visa card. Very convenient.

Seven Bank charged me 110 JPY to withdraw 10,000 JPY - relatively fair.

My partner and I used Mizuho Bank ATMs throughout our trip. Only had one issue with a broken machine-otherwise flawless.

Withdrew money at a busy Resona Bank location in Japan. Despite the crowd, felt totally safe-no pickpockets around.

Seven Bank let me withdraw more than my wifes card would allow. Hers only had a chip, mine had a magnetic stripe too.

Used a Seven Bank ATM inside a 7-Eleven at the airport. Super convenient right after landing!

Seven Bank ATM worked quickly and smoothly. Used my Revolut card from the UK without a hitch.

ATM at Japan Post only operates in Japanese. Have Google Translate ready before starting the transaction!

Japan Post ATM didnt support English. Use a translator app to navigate the Japanese interface.

Used UPayCard at Aeon Bank-ATM charged a 75 yen fee, but it was clearly displayed before the transaction.

Both Visa and Mastercard were charged fees at Rakuten Bank. At least the ATM showed the amount clearly upfront.
