Which are the best ATMs in Afghanistan for foreigners - free & high limits?

I used AIB ATMs in both Kabul and Herat with my Revolut card, and they worked without any issues. The machines were reliable and accepted the card instantly. Just be aware there’s a 5% fee on withdrawals, so it’s better to take out larger amounts if you can.

I tried multiple cards,Visa and Mastercard, at a few ATMs around Kabul, but none of them worked. Super frustrating 😩. Wouldn't recommend relying solely on ATMs here. Also, avoid using them at night, and definitely don’t walk around with a lot of cash...it’s just not worth the risk.

I had a good experience using an Afghan United Bank ATM in Kabul with my international Visa card. It worked smoothly and didn’t reject the card, but they did charge a 5% fee. If you go this route, it’s smarter to withdraw larger amounts at once to minimize charges

Could not find any fee-free ATMs there, but also didnt looked too much around. Only use ATMs inside a branch for saftey reasons!
