Trying to find out if Tanzania widely accepts cards in restaurants and shops and ATMs - any suggestions

Withdrew full amount using my Wise card at Stanbic Bank-no issues. Don t accept amex

Was able to withdraw money using my UnionPay card at Standard Chartered ATM. No it wont take amex

Standard Chartered ATM worked fine with my Mastercard. No trouble. But amex is not accepted here
