Safe to withdraw money late at night in Côte d'Ivoire

I travelled solo through Abidjan this March and was very cautious about ATM use at night. Personally, I stuck to daytime withdrawals  usually between 9 am and 4 pm  and always at machines attached to real bank branches like BICICI or Ecobank. One evening I considered using a standalone ATM near Treichville but it was dimly lit and there were too many people hanging around. If you're a single woman travelling, I strongly recommend planning your cash needs ahead and avoiding night-time withdrawals unless it’s inside a mall or hotel lobby.
